Manufacturing Process of Butterflies Coconut Oil

Butterflies Coconut Oil is produced from sulfur free grade- 1 quality selected Copra (dried coconut).

It is extracted from the meat of mature and dried coconuts without using any chemicals.

Extracting coconut oil from dried coconut is a quick process.

Kernels of the coconuts are disintegrated into small pieces and then send to the Drier, the Coconut is dried and then passed to the Roaster for mild roasting. Once roasting is done, a mechanical centrifuge separates the oil and water.

The extracted oil is then passed through the filter press machine, where Coconut Oil is filtered to remove the impurities. The filtered Coconut Oil is again micro filtered to remove the invisible nano particles present and to make it crystal clear. The micro-filtered Coconut Oil is then pumped into the tank where the oil is processed for packing into pouches and cans.

The oil product is clear and pure, with about 47 – 52% of lauric acid. It is also a major source of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.

Our Butterflies Coconut Oil is used in healthcare, cosmetics and food industries.
